The 1st XV narrowly missed out to Colchester, whilst the Marauders went to Bury and came back with maximum points.
Only a single point separated the sides at Furze Hill as the 1st XV came just short against a very strong Colchester side.
Meanwhile at Bury St Edmunds the Marauders registered another impressive win to move them to second in the table.
Next weekend the 1st XV look to get back to winning ways when they travel to, bottom of the table, Thurston. The Marauders will be at home to Mersea so please come along to Furze Hill to show some support.
