What is T1 Rugby?
T1 Rugby is a modified Touch game of rugby designed to make the game accessible, energetic and entertaining. The format encourages players to handle the ball regularly and be involved throughout, making it a great spectacle for spectators as well as a fantastic experience for those taking part.
The quicker nature of T1 means its fast flowing and also bringing in rugby union elements such a scrums and line outs, uncontested of course! Expect plenty of running rugby, attacking opportunities, skillful play and exciting moments from start to finish.
T1 is about much more than the rugby itself. It's an opportunity to bring people together at Mistley RUFC, enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate everything that makes rugby such a brilliant community sport.
Come along with your family and friends, play or support and soak up the club atmosphere. There will be plenty of action on the pitch, with the chance to see the speed and excitement of T1 Rugby up close.

T1 Rugby is a fantastic opportunity for players to test themselves in a different format, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy playing rugby with others without the risks of full contact adult rugby.
